Genius Prince 11

[Action; Doomsday; Kramden Road]
[ Bel's not very happy right now. He had just gotten his knives back, and now they're gone again! But that's not the only thing that's annoying him, however. What's with this place just going rubbish like this? Was this supposed to be the apocalypse or something? It was like the place had been demolished entirely, not just getting people killed. So now, he's not in the best of moods. He's picked up what knives that are workable enough though, so he's still able to fight. ]

What the hell?

[ He doesn't like this. He's not surprised that something happened though. This was in exchange of the 'calm' thanksgiving, wasn't it? ]

[Action; Doomsday; Williams Road; locked to Niou (mathisradical) and his not!family]
[ Be as it may be, he is somewhat worried about Niou. So he's taken himself to 1249 Williams Road to look for him. In this place, Niou is probably the only one he's talked to several times without having threatened him, or messed with him just to piss him off. Simply put, he gets along with him, and while he knows that Niou can fight somewhat, he doesn't know how good he is at it. And maybe he does think of Niou as a friend. ]

[Actiion; Doomsday; all over the remains of Mayfield]
[ He's staking out what's still somewhat intact, and what's completely lost. He's been in the market and snatched whatever food he could find, and it's now in a bag slung across his shoulder. He has an annoyed expression on his face, and for most people here, it's probably the first time they've seen him without smiling or with a bored expression. He kicks at the rubble, as he goes around either looking for people, or checking out what everything looks like right now. ]

Che. Like some illusionist with bad taste.

[ Given in the world he came from, illusions weren't just illusions. You had to see through it or it would really be the truth, even though it was an illusion. Hmm, maybe it is? The doings of a really powerful illusionist. ]

We'll find out. This all could be the work of a powerful illusionist. [ If it was like the illusions in his world, it would be entirely possible. ]

Hn. Hadn't thought of it like that. Either way, it'll probably just go back to normal in a few days like it usually does.

Wouldn't be surprising if it will. [ This town really loved toying with them after all. ]

Even though nothin' is permanent here, death or these events, it's still kind of terrifyin'. [ Maybe that was why it was terrifying. Because nothing was permanent. Even the people. Especially the people. ]

Yeah, can be. [ Though the times he got scared were close to never, he wasn't stupid enough to not notice when something was more than just scary. ] Can't be fun to die that many times. Not that I've died yet.

I haven't, either. Marui did, though, before I got here. He just said it was kind of like goin' to sleep and wakin' up the next mornin'. I think he was playin' it off, though.

Exactly. [ He pauses briefly. ] Do you think things will ever get better here? Like, do you think that the people behind all the shit that happens here will be taken down and Mayfield will be... normal?

We~ll, I don't think it's impossible. Anyone can be defeated.

Just as long as you don't start spoutin' that "as long as we all work together and believe in ourselves!" bullshit.

{ He snickers. ] No way I'd say that~ That just sounds stupid.

[ He grins. ] Really stupid. Iunno why so many people believe it.

They're just too stupid to see it's not working that way~

They're the kind of people who have blind trust and faith in things that aren't there.

Need to open their eyes~ [ He plays with a knife. ]I could help them with that~

[ He glances at the knife before looking back at Bel. ] You mean physically help them open their eyes, or figuratively?

Who knows~ Think they need it physically?

They might. Let's see where their hope and faith is when their eyes are being gouged out.

Now there's an idea. [ It's funny just how quickly his morals (what little he had to begin with) flew out the window upon arriving at Mayfield. ]
